I have over 25 years’ experience through the NHS, private sector, universities and voluntary sector of developing, delivering and evaluating training programmes around psychological assessment and treatment for health-care and non-health care staff and students. I have been on the panel of preferred training providers for the National Centre of Rehabilitation Education (NCORE, Derby) since 2002. Through this, I have designed and delivered numerous training programmes for hundreds of allied health professionals. I am an Honorary Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the University of Leicester, having teaching and assessment input to the postgraduate doctoral programme in clinical psychology as well as to the undergraduate psychology courses. I was previously a full-time lecturer in this department. I have also previously been an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Psychology at De Montfort University, Leicester, having responsibility for designing and delivering cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT) training in the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
