Helen is a specialist physiotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience in the NHS, where she has worked across a diverse range of settings including acute care, community rehabilitation, and intermediate care services. Her clinical focus has consistently centred on supporting older adults, with expertise in frailty management, falls prevention, and promoting functional independence.
Most recently, Helen worked as a Specialist Frailty Physiotherapist within a Multidisciplinary Team in an acute hospital working collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure holistic, patient centred care.
She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Frailty and currently works as a Physiotherapy Lecturer at the Health, Wellbeing and Care Hub at the University of Essex. In this role, Helen works both clinically and as an educator sharing her passion for promoting excellence in the care of older people.
